Don’t judge a book by it’s cover, and don’t judge a perfume by it’s bottle, or indeed the boy band behind it. I first smelt this on my co-worker, and thought she was wearing Britney Spears’ Midnight Fantasy.
When she told me it was One Direction I was surprised how lovely it smelt, and when I found it on offer on Amazon I treated myself to the bottle. It still reminds me a little of Midnight Fantasy, sweet, but unique and delicious, maybe even a little seductive. It smells of soft, gentle fruits, musks and florals, with a hint of something a little spicy which gives it a lovely unique edge. It also lasts a long time without being overpowering or sickly.
The only thing I don’t like is the bottle, which is too fiddly and looks like a tacky Disney princess accessory, but like I said, don’t judge it on the bottle, the fragrance inside is beautiful.
For anybody out there toying with this perfume but are put off because it’s ‘One Direction’, (I happen to think they are cute), please do try this, you will be pleasantly surprised!
